5 Secrets of Communication
The District Behavior Support Team is conducting a one-night parenting/communication class January 22, 6:30-8:00 in the PDC.
Participants will learn the 5 secrets of communication which include listening and self expression skills. These skills can be used at home with children, spouses, and significant others as well as at work with coworkers and parents.
Cost is free and snacks will be provided. There is no need to pre-register. This class will be held in English and there will be no Spanish translation. Currently there is no babysitting scheduled for this class.

MASS Training in January
The dates for the MASS behavior management training in January HAVE CHANGED!!
It will now be held January 9 & 13, 8:30-3:00 both days in the PDC.
MASS (Managing Aggressive Students Successfully) is a 12 hour behavior management class offered to all PSD staff. In this class you will learn about behavior management principles as well as specific effective interventions you can use everyday with all students regardless of their age or academic level. Encourage all staff you know (teachers, aides, etc) to come to this fun and informative behavior management class. Cost is free and lunch and snacks will be provided to all who register.
This class will start the first week back from Christmas vacation so hurry and register!

Parenting Class: January 14, 2009
On January 14 there is a one night parenting class that will be held in both spanish and english at the Provo School District office.
- The english speaking class will be from 6:30-8:00 in the PDC
- The spanish speaking class will be from 7:30-9:00 in board room 1.
- Topic: Gang and drug awareness for parents
- Cost will be FREE and babysitting will be provided.

New Form For Requesting District Media Center Print Jobs
A new form has been created for requesting print jobs at the district media center. If you would like to request a print job, please fill out this form and send it to Ranny Young at the District Office via email or district mail. All jobs requested need to be approved by your principal or administrator. Bring the original documents to the media center without staples or any other binding. All print jobs require 8 1/2 x 11 paper.
